Stackpole Books will be publishing what looks like a series of books illustrated by Don Troiani. Each volume will cover subjects like civil War infantry, Zouaves etc. The only drawback, and if you own Troiani's other books is a huge drawback are the paintings/figure studies. I've seen the table of contents for the Civil War Infantry book and most of the paintings listed are in his other books. Unless there's anything new in the way of paintings or valuable text, i may just pass on these. I do not mind having some of the same stuff in another book, but if it amounts to buying the same thing reprinted in another format, it may be money not worth spending. I believe they will sell for around $16.95 and come out sometime in early May.~Gary
