Many thanks Pedro for the review,i really like this one,i love the face sculpt and the armour, however i have to agree with tubby-nuts,the standard i feel IMO lets the bust down abit,i'm sure though it will prove very popular (y)

Just when I thought I wouldn't buy another Roman bust or figure along comes this.
Excellent and very much in Young's distinctive style.
I have to say that any illustrations I've seen of Imaginifers the image of the emperor and the standard as a whole was small by comparison to other standards.
I think this works

Ditto, this is a great piece and a must have.

I like this one very much, while far from an authority, I had thought the "image" would be gold ?

Not another non-WWII German! How many more non-WWII Germans do we need on the market? ;)

Seriously though, this looks like another great release and is a tempting one at that.

This would actually be an Imaginifer and not a Signifier. The Signifier carried the standard of the Legion of which they were a member, the Imaginifer carried a bust of the Emperor. From everything I have seen, the bust should have a metal shroud surrounding it and the bust itself would be silver or gold. Easily corrected.

Excellent piece. I was one of those who said the WWI Tommy didn't look of the period but this guy "looks" Roman....at least to me.The imperial image is a great sculpt too.

The anatomy of his arm is memorable!!! :) And that is just a detail in a miniature that really has several key points to discover! What a great novelty! Congratulations Young!
