Thank you for your welcome and interest. To answer your inquiry in brief, i'm a classical pianist and vocalist who has always felt a need to create something that remains tangible. Hence painting ( watercolors), potting, drawing, and now, polymer clay ( 10 yrs) provide great satisfaction. My avatar is my very first attempt at the human figure. It is called " political balance". It stands on one foot. He winks while gesturing hello and has his fingers crossed behind his back. That was 4 yrs ago and i've never looked back. Again, thanks for asking. I'm so looking forward to the people and knowledge coming forth from this site!

Many musicians create in venues other than sound. I still play and sing and teach-always have. But, unless one records, sound is just immediately gone. I just like something to hold and exist after creating, so I sculpt.

Ok, here goes. I'm working on a 2 headed dragon. Top rib/ claw of wings aprox 10" long. 2 others a little shorter. Want skin to be leather like with folds between ribs, firm but flexable. Plse suggest materials and method.
