Vladimir Danilov's figures are fantastic. I predict yet more little white Chronos boxes in the stash.

If I could engage Vladimir as my personal figure modeller I think I'd ask him to do his own take on Michael Sutty's porcelain set of Sgt. Ewart at Waterloo.

Dream on...

That would be a classic as well as a commercial hit. I just wish CHRONOS would do some 18th century French figures. I suspect that they would not be commercially very viable. It is a pity though.

You're right. This is a very interesting topic, but these figures will not sell very well. We made a lot of figures for the 18th century and unfortunately we were convinced of this repeatedly. Nevertheless, we are making a new equestrian figure of a Russian dragoon for the period of the Great Northern War (1700-1721).

The artistry and production quality of Vladimir Danilov's work
was outstanding, so the elephant in the room is that for almost
a year the international situation has deprived us of further
contributions he most certainly would have made to this hobby.
As things are unlikely to change any time soon, we can only
wonder where Volodya's ideas might have taken us had things
unfolded differently

I do believe this is a new set, but I haven't done a deep dive into it. Ya, she does great work, especially her flags, sheesh!

He produced a couple of 1/30th vignettes earlier relative to the retreat from Moscow.
Perhaps these are a continuation....I've heard nothing. Because of the international
situation it'll be a matter of individual conscience whether we buy them or not.

Hey Mike, I think we are all aware of the "international situation", so could we please not be constantly reminded of it? This is, after all, a hobby and not a job. Political gestures are really not appropriate on a model forum, my friend.
