Love the Veteran figure hard to say which version is better sallet or kettle helmet, bill looks a great bit of sculpting too nice one

Just wondering, would it be appropriate for the "Veteran" to have a shield of some sort? What historical period/nationality does/could he represent? The gears are turning...
 
Jason, yes, yes, you are right, it was possible to add a shield pavise, but decided to make the character without it. There was a wish to make a generalized character without a concrete binding to a nationality It could be for example Swiss, the German, times of 15th. there is some idea which probably will be realized soon, hope it everything it will be pleasant.
