The coat of arms is the one of the Bishop of Dorpat, Hermann I of Buxthoeven, one of the commanders during the Battle on the Ice (Aril 5, 1242) . In his coat of arms he wears the "Key of Bremen" (the coat of arms of my hometown) because he (to 1220) was previously abbot of the monastery Saint Paul in Bremen (no longer exists today).
