Hello Planeteers,

Here is my version of Nocturna's 75mm Teutonic Knight.
Vallejo acrylics and oils.
Comments are welcome.

Great work Patrick.
But I should shade and highlight the red in the flag more. In compare with the outstanding white of the knight, the flag is very flat.
Maybe the picture's doesn't do right on your painting.

I agree. I see the flag too clean compared with the rest of the figure, but i guess is intentional.

Patrick, I think this is your best figure yet and is a beautiful job using two colours that are challenges at the best of times, white and red. Nicely judged weathering and the snow on the cloak is very well done.
The face looks first class.
Two comments I like the way you've done the flag without overshading but you probably could get away with going in a bit heavier in the deep fold and the fabric pinches near the staff.
Also given the amount of snow on the hem of the cloak I feel you need more on the ground below and behind the cloak.
Cheers
Derek

I like it a lot Patrick! You've clearly been practicing!
For me the flag is OK. I find it quite realistic without added contrast.

Groet'n,
Adrian
