North Staffs Model Expo, 24th May, 2015

Hi guys,

just to give some advance notice regarding our show which is scheduled for Sunday, 24th May, 2015, at Sir Stanley Matthews Academy, Stoke on Trent, Staffs, ST3 3JD.

Formally, the Potteries Model Show, this is hoped to become an annual event now run jointly between Meir Model Club and Cobridge Old Contemptibles.

We have several traders already confirmed and a number of model clubs who will be present.

I will post further details once I have received final confirmations. I hope that some of you will be able to attend, I look forward to seeing you there!

Thanks for posting Steve. I hope to get to this one as it is one of my local shows. I used to love going to the Meir model show which sadly stopped some time ago. Good to see the club out there again. Do you know yet if there will be a competition?

Jazz - We are hoping to have a comp, possibly demos, too. I will post details when everything is confirmed. We are due to start up again this week, so I will keep you posted!
Whereabouts in God's county are you based?

I live in Cannock but I'm not in any club, except this one, if that counts. I'd like to get to the show. Only problem is my wedding anniversary is the 19th and we usually go away then but hopefully this year I can get back for this show.

I know its a bit of a jaunt, but you would be more than welcome at our meets on a Wednesday night - We start at 7.00 til about 9.00 each week, at the school? If not, we look forward to seeing you at the shows!
