Not related to the world of figure, but pertinent with microscopical art. Take a look at the Kynsey web site, another example of modern (commercial) miniature art - a fountain pen manufacturer from Spain.
Pens are hand painted, it's not a print.

They do look beautiful Luca...and it must be an aquired skill to paint on the curved surface....a little similar to the problems we face should we need to paint a complicated standard....lovely to see...thanks for the picture.

When seeing works like that, I always think about the amount of such talented artists (not just artisans) out there, living and working into the most obscure anonymity.

Exactly, and think of all those people out there who are merely famous for being famous. A crying shame and a comment on the times we live in.
