Hi Folks ,
Here is a shot of a bronzed bust I have just done for and of my Mate Colesey for his 70th Birthday.
It depicts Him in the ceremonial uniform of the Devon and Cornwall Constabulary in the late 60’s. It was copied from a photograph of him on ceremonial duty in London. I like this uniform because it is a direct copy of the Victorian version……right down to the famous snake belt. Additionally he looks as though he is out to collar The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town.
I hope that you like it too.
All the very best for 2015 Guys,
Keith

Thank you Kevin,
The photo I used was not great but the uniform with the high collar, snake clasp on the belt and his full set of whiskers really looked Victorian.
Cheers Mate,
Keith

Looks great Keith is it cold cast or actual bronze ?
Steve
Hi Steve,
Sorry to disappoint Mate but it's resin with a base of Halfords grey primer followed by matt black with Humbrol gold 54 highlights then a fine dusting of matt black. When completely dry buff it up to give it a a well handled look.
Too simple to be true but I think it works quite well.
Thank for you kind comment Steve.
Keith
