Hello Everbody...
I just started my latest, and to close out the year, I thought I'd do this wonderful kit from NS Productions. I've always loved these kits from NS, and I'm really looking forward to painting this. The casting is just superb - by far the best I've seen out of all the various pieces I've painted this year. Only the bare minimum of prep work and cleaning was required. (A nice change of pace).
Here is the kit unassembled. I actually assembled the kit with blue-tac and then primed it, but then took it apart to make painting hard to reach areas easier.
And here is what the kit looks like fully assembled (and primed). The only thing missing in this pic are some of the small attachments to the pipe he's holding.
For this kit, I'm going to reverse my usual order of doing the figure first and then the base. So we'll be starting with the base and the surrounding scene, and then the figure for last...
