NZ infantryman North Africa

Hi all,

It's been a while since I posted anything so here goes.

I finished him a wee while ago but he is Ozmods 120mm Resting Aussie Digger done as a New Zealand infantryman with a wool hat. He is painted in a mix of Vallejo, Tamiya and Lifecolor acrylics.

Hi Andy neat to see your fellow shared here.
He looks like a real character, especially like the woollen beanie.
Interesting to see you've included an MP40 - I know Kiwi troops were keen on "borrowing" these.

Thanks Mike, the woollen hat is a small homage to my great-great uncle (he's the one in the woollen hat in the middle) who was sadly killed in Egypt in 1942. He was known for "borrowing" things so the MP-40 is a good fit!
