To be fair that is my assumption Mike. Andrea somehow does not want to mention it, but having had an eye on 3D scanned figures for a while now these very much look just like it. Giveaways are the ultrarealistic drapery, a very lifelike pose and absence of action poses; the action in the latest Andrea releases is such that the reenactor can hold the pose for a few minutes without toppling over. Then again, one could also manipulate the scan digitally to make it off-balance, such as in running, but I haven't seen that yet.
As much as I like these new developments I still consider your Kirin Highlander as one of the best figures ever, so no need to feel bad!
