A very nice little kit from Scale75.

Officer of the Brunswick Hussars in 1815.

I wish there would be more german soldiers from all the other periods before 1918, cause they are worth it.

Built straight from the box, mostly done with acrylics and few oils.

You have made an excellent job of this interesting figure Robert. I agree that German figures of the pre-1870 period are worthy of more coverage, as are those post FPW up to 1914. Nice work on the blacks

Beautifully executed. I agree that there needs to be more German pre-1918 figures. But CHRONOS does have several.

And yes - black is a very difficult color.
I mixed Vallejo black with a bit of a dark brown, a bit of ivory and a tiny drop of dark prussian blue.
But it was still a lot of mixing the lights and the shadows.
I am quite satisfied with the result.

Chronos has really a range of very nice figures, but most of them in 54mm scale. Which does not mean that I don't make 54 mm, but I prefer the bigger scales.
