I love the pose and the era, the sporran looks too long and low. Any references? The spats look like the toes are squared and only the Black Watch did that.

Hi
I`m a rivet counter but I hope a helpful one.
look at the buckle on the strap holding the waterbottle, its a common mistake but buckles don't work that way, the pin is on the closing side of the buckle. i.e if that were a real functioning strap you would have to pass the strap over the pin before passing it through the buckle.
Your in good company though, have a look at Poste militaire`s Timurid Emir. I bet hundreds of them have sold and I wonder how many people noticed the pin is on the wrong side of the buckle on his chest.
hope you don't mind, its nothing really and I wouldn't mention it ,but looks as if this figure is still a master so you probably got the option to change it.
Lol, you don't get rivets on spats Colin, you're just being silly! I know what you mean though but if I posted a sculpt on here which was inaccurate I'd want to be told about it. I'll stick to doing Argylls at least I know the kit. Still a cracking figure.

Never mind sporran, there are anatomical issues (on otherwise very promising figure) that I wish were looked into before sending it to casting. Alas its all post factum these days...
What do you call it, by the way, some one who is rivet county about anatomy? Plastic surgeon?? Or Pathologist?
