Yes, on metal I always undercoat with Vallejo and/off JoSonja acrylic.
The metalparts I undercoat them with Humbrol enamels.

Very fine result Marc. A real challenge to get the shading right at this scale particularly on the pantaloons.
Nicely restrained dusting on the shoes and lower leg.

Marc, the photographs do not give us a good result,,, light is too bright, and it seems that he is standing on top of a snow...the ground is white.
