Sometimes, not too often, I do 54mm figures.
In this case I found the three russians from Bravo-6, Stalingrad and Evolution Miniatures do fit perfectly together.
So I created a little scene somewhere near the Seelow hights, in the spring of 1945.

As always, done mostly with acrylics.

Enjoy viewing
Robert

I really like dioramas, especially 1/35 ones (which are the ones I've done so far) .

Love your dio, everything seems to fit in place naturally (y)

That wood fire is simply outstanding! (y) (y) (y) May I ask how did you do that?

Cheers!

Thanks to all for the kind words, very much appreciated. :)

To Dolf:
The wood fire came out really good, better than I expected.

I used a very cheap flickering LED candle light, removed the silicon cover and put it into place.

After that I used cling film and shaped it like flames, put it over the light and glued it at the edges, so that the light can be exchanged if broken.

Painted the cling film with a very small and thinned coat of red and very few blue, the light itself gives enough yellow color.

Finally I glued some real sticks and branches around the fire hole, painted them black and white, used some real ashes from coals ( in fact from my barbecue activities last summer)

and You see the result. Very convincing indeed.

Cheers Robert

Hi Robert,

Thank you very much for the detailed reply (y)

Yes, that fire is indeed extremely convincing! Very well done! (y)

Keep up the great work!

Cheers!

Hi Robert

You should do more 54mm , really nice setting with the figures working well together, good painting and interaction on the figures
The base work looks good especially the fire effects , very cleverly modelled
