One down, two to go (A trio of Mitches).

I think I’m going to call this one done. It’s a 1/9 US paratrooper of the 82nd Airborne from WW2 and forms part of a trio of busts from Mitches Military Models which I’m working on at the moment. I’ve really enjoyed tackling this bust, in particular scratching my head over the colour/shade of the jump jacket and through the research seeing the different interpretations of the colours for this item. It’s painted in oils over enamels with acrylic for the webbing.

Excellent all around paintwork Neal...….I think the tapered base gives a nice lift and balance without adding too much bulk.

Thanks very much Wayne. I think your right about the tapered base, the narrow top means the base doesn’t overpower the figure and they’re both not fighting for attention so to speak.
