Started this one recently, produced by Mitches Military Models and sculpted by Carl Reid.
Great sculpting here on this one by Carl, extremely good likeness to John Wayne, bust is completely cast in resin with minimal clean up and very good fit of parts.

Very early progress with this at present with lots of work still to complete.

Availability and purchase through Ross or Gordon Mitchel.

Hi Brian, looking good so far mate I must admit I fancy having a crack at this one myself, the only thing I don't like is the reins in his mouth, but then that's in keeping with the film(y)
Cheers

Hi Jim,thanks for your coments mate, you could always leave the reins off the mouth,it's still a great bust though, there's too much light in these photos,I'll correct that next update (y)

As ever excellent work Brian. I'm flying to the UK later this week and this is one of a few bits delivered to my mum to save postage and import duties.

Cheers

Great start on this one Brian. I'd like to paint one myself given the time so I will watch with interest.
I'd love to have one with a horse underneath it also Chippy, it would be very impressive.
Ross has snatched the masters off me for this one and is now producing it under the MMM banner so if anyone needs one drop him a line on [email protected]
Cheers
Gordon

Brian: Indeed, you're off to a great start. Love the flesh tones. And
I was so glad to see above, you say the photos were over exposed. Because
knowing your work, I more or less felt that the lens aperture was
a slight bit too open. Will follow with much interest, Rick
