Just finished up a 1:7 scale of Det. Columbo from the 70's TV series. I bought this from one of those Swap and Sells from a Figure group on FB, so I have no info on it. It looks to me like the sculpt was done as a sketch (a bit rough) so if that's how the sculptor left it, that's how I was leaving it.
I agonized over the 5 o'clock shadow - too much, too little - and back again. It was the first time I did it with paint. (vs. pastels). The other hard part was, after all the time spent trying to make eyes centered and even, was hard to have his one eye a little off.
