A good friend of mine, Steve Scott, of Tulsa Oklahoma, just arrived back from the Atlanta show. Steve took with him the following figures for part of his exhibit.

Osage Warrior

The Osage warrior Steve painted is from PiliPili Miniatures.

Grizzly

The Grizzly is from an old 90mm Native American Indian sculpted by Ray Lamb. I was talking to Steve on the phone one day and was telling him about the Griz I had and he seemed interested.......so I sent it to him.

These are great pieces. I had the pleasure of seeing them up close in Atlanta. Steve, I really liked what you did with the bear coming out of that base. It made you feel like "A big mistake to mess with a bear's cave!"
Nice job on both.
Pete

I forgot to mention that The Osage Warrior won a Silver award in the painting category in last month's Atlanta Show.

Congratulations Steve.

Steve,

That Osage really means business! "My name spells T-R-O-U-B-L-E".

I also like the Grizzly. I never heard of that creation of Ray Lamb's. Was it ever been commercialized?

Anyhow both figures are fantastic paint jobs. Congrats!

Hey Steve,

It was good to see you at our show.
Both pieces were great to see in person. Pete is right... they are
even better in person.
Looking forward to Tulsa.

I have that Osage bust also.. so this is great inspiration to get
that on my bench.

Once again, thank you all for your kind remarks. Dee, the bust is one of two pieces the HMSNEO has selected for the painters figure for this year's show. Sure would be nice to see your version!--Steve
