There are advantages to living in Plymouth; and I can confirm that El Greco are most definitely open.
Four of us from our Club arranged to visit the El Greco shop on 03 September.
Unfortunately, by that day we were down to three due to work commitments.
We arrived late morning and were made extremely welcome by Matt and Celine.
As I mentioned once before, their emporium takes you back in time to when model shops, and particularly figure shops, were available to all and sundry. Oh happy days!
Just imagine being surrounded by boxes and boxes of everything you happen to see on their website; but you can touch them!
Needless to say, we collected lots of purchases.
After that, we were taken upstairs to see the numerous 3d printers which are working more or less continuously. Downstairs they have a couple of show cases with examples of the printing. Fantastic to see the work close-up.
There are some photos of the interior on the El Greco website, of which, this is one.
This was taken when they were preparing to open (opened 17 June 2022), and since then it has filled considerably, to what we experienced. More photos are available on their website.
If you happen to be in the South West, they are well worth a visit (just check the opening days and times).
This was my second visit, (1st visit 28 June) and these were my purchases on both occasions.
The scenic base is for the Lewis and Clark set, which I got on my first visit.
Cheers,
Andrew
