Just noticed in the last couple of days the site has passed 1000 posts! Surely a milestone!

Gordy, can you get stats on how the postings have been distributed over time?

Rob

Yeah! When do you find the time to make the models?
Damn!!! I've been exposed for the fraud that I am!!!!

I don't suppose I'd have spent quite so much time on here if I was busier at work though! ;)

Thanks Gordy,
The bar graph shows a good growth. The data in the next post tells alot too and I look forward to doing a comparison next month to October's. I appreciate you showing us the stats........no other site involves the membership like planetfigure does........I can't speak for everyone and only speak for myself....I appreciate the sharing of information.

Now I will Thank all you members who make this forum what it is and what it can be......a very valuable place to exchange ideas, techniques, thoughts, successes, and like my vase for Bob.....failures. Here we have more of an openness and a way of expressing, posting, and exchanging thoughts of a hobby we all love. Where else can someone ask a question and a few minutes later get an image posted from a fellow member with the answer. I have gotten more motivation from you guys to try things I hadn't tried before. Exchanged more ideas and thoughts that I could going to every show each year.........thanks fellow members......and thanks gordy.....I'll get off my soap box now and drink my coffee............................ I wouldn't say the vase experiment was a failure. These types of things happen to me all the time. But if you do not try something you will never know and in the process sometimes you learn something unexpected.

Gordy, I think you have a great site that shows a tremendous amount of thought on your part. What makes it stand a part is the willingness of people to share their techniques/work which is probably inspired by your own offerings which have been of great benefit. I can only see it getting better as more members contribute.

This is fast becoming a scratchbuilders' site, where, with no apparent reason apart from the civility of the membership, people are not afraid to show what they're up to and to exchange ideas.

I also think Gordy's great lay-out, the luminous colours and the smilies play a great part too.

And lest we forget, Guy's positive thinking, of course. (y)

Let's keep our minds OPEN!

Cheers Gordy for the statistics. Interesting whan you get 5-10% of total posts in one day! Lets hope that rate continues (although I realise things will be quiet from time to time).

I personally really like the layout of this site; I've even successfully posted pictures here too. Plus there's somewhere to upload pictures.

Quang. Svalbard?

Bizarrely, I spent a month on a boat working due west of the Spratly Islands in 1995! It as very hot!

Quang, I like your style!
