Nice work on a venerable kit, Alex! Do you have more pics of the P-26? I didn't see any at your blog, though I only took a quick look at the main page.

Prost!

Brad,
Thanks for the question. I remember building this kit OOTB (out of the box) over 3o years ago and left it at my Moms house. Years later during a visit I found it and took it outside for a quick 'snap'.
What you see here is a photograph taken over 20 years ago, a scanned 35mm negative, then given a photo-shop treatment.
Yes, I wish I had more photos, something that was not to be.
All in all, happy to have this image from back in the day.
If I had photos of (All) the kits and model builds I done in the past, almost 50 years...WoW! just imagine that.

Don't we all wish that! :)

That series by Hasegawa still stands up well today, and they're some of the only 1/32 kits of those subjects, too, like the F4B-4 and the BF2C.

Yes, some nice "golden era" aircraft of the day.

Also, talking out old model kits built and now long gone...believe it or not, I do have dreams (in my sleep) of getting my hands on some of those old models and right when I have them in my grasp, I wake up.

That is a true recurring dream of mine. weird.
