Well folks have finally completed the promise I made to my dad before he passed away

This will be the third figure in a little set called P B I as my dad referred to his role in the war

Poor Bloody Infantry sculpted by the talented Lucas Bezzera printed by Mark Haywood

It’s Private David Fothergil Edwards

Taken from this pic it will come with trench section base , shovel and Mp 40 Enfield as in picture

Very nicely done. I made Dad's Lancaster (https://www.planetfigure.com/thread...thers-wwii-medals-cleaning.82332/#post-854028) before he died and it is now with one of his grandaughters.

Your and my Dads were just two amongst hundreds of thousands of very brave men who were dismissive of the courage required to do their jobs and help end the war.

What a nice tribute to your Dad, seems you're very proud of him and his wartime service (and rightly so).

It's a fine sculpt and I'm sure Brian will knock it out of the park once he starts chucking paint at it.

The side-arm looks like it might be a war trophy like the MP40. Is there a story behind it?
