Hi Guys,

After a disaster of a first attempt at painting flesh tones after a long period of quite serious illness.

I discovered a brilliant way to strip acrylic paint off, using badger airbrush cleaner and an electric toothbrush ( a discarded head)i was able to completely remove several coats of paint

method

spray cleaner on surface then work the brush over it,
you'll get a very sticky surface then using some soap,or shower gel clean this off using the electric toothbrush then just repeat until the surface is clean, it took several minutes but was alot quicker than soaking in nail varnish remover or oven cleaner and the electric toothbrush was able to get into all those nooks and crannies.

anyway try it see how it works for you as you can pick up basic battery toothbrushes in pound shops these days its worth a go

cheers

Simon

Sounds a good idea will remember that for the future, good to hear you are back from your illness, hope everything is OK now.
