Painting Yellow

Hi everyone. Does anyone know of a successful mix for painting yellow? Just abot to start Andrea's Robert the Bruce ( if I can get the face right).

Hey Hardy,

I am now an acrylic painter, but at one time I did paint with oils! I had painted a yellow knight from Borders years ago and what I used was a base of Cad Yellow + Mars yellow. I then went higher with the yellow and added white for the extreme highlights and for the shadows I increased the Mars yellow and for the deepest I added a touch of purple.
