This figure is based on the 1985 movie "Pale Rider", starring Clint Eastwood as the "Preacher" and was released by Andrea in 1998.

I think the box art resembles Clint Eastwood somewhat more than my version, which proves, to me at least, that painting can make a big difference. Nevertheless, I gave it a shot...

Anyway, it is a wonderful sculpt and was a pleasure to paint. All painting was done in acrylics with no modifications to the kit, except for some additional rocks and sand added to the wheelbarrow.

The groundwork started with the kit supplied base to which I added magic sculpt putty plus some rocks and sand.

I appreciate you taking the time to view my work.

Cheers,
Ken

That's a very eye-catching piece Ken.
Very nice work indeed.
If one looks through the Andrea catalogue, it's amazing how many film characters can be found.

Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Ken

Catching up here ....lovely atmosphere on the piece , classy painting and presentation , the addition of the wheelbarrow adds to the look and nicely weathered as well

Why not enter something in the class of your choice in FOTM , maybe also into the Vignette & Diorama comp , please take the time to consider and also do vote as well

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next thread

Happy benchtime
