Hi guys
I have been trying to get some painting in since Nettie had her operation 3 days ago .
I have done some work on the armour which I Iam pretty pleased with , the effect I used metal coat on top of the base coat that I had put on in the previous post , after letting it dry I used a Cotten bud to burnish it up which appeared to work a treat .
I then used a very diluted wah of Vallego black and did a stippling effect let the dry under my designer figure dryer lol.
Then did it agin with a slighly darker wash and did the the same again . Started on the leather sword belt and armour buckes and strap , useing Scale 75 wood and leather set which is cracking if I buy any more will have to build another shelf .
Did some work on buttons and reinforced loop sections for buttons jury is still out on colour of cape , just having a bit of a block lol but a break and revisit will no doubt do the trick
Cheers Chris
