HELP!!

I am nearing completion on a newly painted 54mm figure and I realized I that I do not have a proper base for him. I generally buy bases at shows and have no small bases suitable for this figure.

I am looking for the tall, two piece pedestal bases you see used by guys like Horan and Doug Cohen.

Can anybody steer me to a place where I might get one of these bases? The sooner the better!

Cheers!

Mike

Two thoughts: Andrea makes some nice ones - I've bought off the michtoy website, under Andrea tab. Also, I've made my own very easily - buying bases at Michaels (they have quite an assortment, actually) and staining them myself with Minwax stains (at DIY stores). Just a couple of ideas for you!

Happy base hunting--

Hi Mike.
Red Lancers carries Andrea & S&T bases, BOTH are very nice, they also carry other bases as well. Also, The Military Miniatures Warehouse carries a line of bases made of olive wood that are beautiful.
HTH!

You can view a small sampling of my high quality hardwood bases on Planet Figure under my member name of Rich DiBenedetto. I sell at the MFCA and D.C. shows and have always received a positive response to the product. Plus I have been painting miniatues for 35 years so I know what works. If you are interested, email me with the word "Bases" in the subject line at [email protected].
