Again, bad pictures. Please do enjoy. This was a nice experiment in worn leather which I wanted to use to depict the body armour. Also a nice challenge for those antique bronze surfaces.

This has been a favourite figure of min ..despite it having legs..lol

As you say it's an ideal piece to get great effects on worn leather and armour ...and you have certainly achieved that

Did you use the Darkstar metallics ?

Dear Nap, no I didn't although they do look very interesting.
I used a hodge podge of printer's ink and some Scale 75mm Necro Gold here and there with washes for shadows. If I was going to do the figure again, I probably would go with something else... which is the beauty of this hobby.
