Hi Hardy

Thans a great start, the figure itself is a nice kit. How do you paint the eyeballs? do you paint the white first then the black centre then the pupil colour or the other way round?

Cheers
Tommi

Cheers guys
Yes, Tommi thats right. I then paint in Venietian red around the edges to make them look more alive. Eyes are always painted after the flesh as I need the flesh frame around them to get them right. Hardy

Hi Marc, yes always a undercoat similar to the highlight colour of the red. The basecoat of oils will be a dark brown, highlighted with shades of red.

Thanks for posting. Hardy

Hi Hardy...great to see you getting on so well with this figure...it's a really nice piece that I would like to pick up my self.

I must say that you never cease to amaze me with your painting. Always you are trying different methods and adding more and more detail everywhere, and even at the high standard you set yourself, you still seem to manage to excel with each new piece...

Looking forward to more pictures mate.

Roy.

Hardy,
Your painting amazed me with every figure. How can you painted texture into a metal figure.. There must be some technic to achieve this, at least you discover it...
Great, great and again great work.
I'm glad that i gonna see your figure in life at our show.

Marc
