The pirate looks great. I have Francois Olonnais on the shelf. I think they look good together.
That trench is I think a typical English Trench with a Firestep. To clean in my opinion, but that can be arranged by the modeller himself.

I need both of these! That figure begs to be painted. The trench looks more ACW (think Vicksburg or Petersburg) than WWI, which is why I want to get one, not that I am not enjoying my rediscovery of all things Great War.

pretty pieces in all but the left hand is more than moderately done, not to say it looks like a foot, and it's a shame

HHHMMM- the left hand looks fine to me. He is holding back his cape as he draws his sword, in the act of sweeping the cape aside I would say. Nothing wrong there, it adds to the movement I think. I would pick a fault in respect that he hadn't washed his hair before so important a foto-call.

Hmmm, A bit boring and dissapointing in my opinion, although I caveat that statement by saying that although I personally do not like them, I always admire the skill involved in making figures even if I do not care for the subject matter

Best Regards

Chris

Some lovely sculpting on the 75, but the head looks a bit small to me, making the figure about nine heads tall.

The boots bother me too; looking at the way they're done I have a niggling suspicion they were sculpted from illustrations (or memory) rather than from a solid reference.

This figure is superbly sculpted, painted and photographed.
Maybe I grew up in a world where there wasn't that many figures to choose from as there are today! It seems that a crest of a wave may have been reached? A bit like eating an apple a day and going for a day out in an orchard?
I like this, it's 'Old School' Figurine producing at its best.
You bloody revolutionaries!!!!!

Dear friends as i am the sculptor of the trench i have to clarify that this is an ACW trench!By the way i have to admitt that mr.Bartolomei did a very good job in painting!Thank you.

I never thought of ACW ! The stone whisky jug threw me off ;)

Bartolomei's painting is superbly done (y)

Just a note for future painters: American style whiskey jugs normally have the colours opposite, the stone a biege, bone/ecru colour and the enamel rolled on the inside and the top dipped or dripped a chocolate brown colour..
