Hi guys just finished this one, tried a couple of new techniques ,one being body hair and the other adding texture on the tunic. I dont think they show up well in the photos, still having trouble with the lighting.Hope you like it.

David,
It is hard to say something from the dark pictures. But it seems very good.
I've done this classic also and it is a joy to paint.
So, please take some lighter pictures or do some PS.

Marc

David it seems you've done a great job
on this figure, but these pics are far too dark.
I'd like to see some clearer shots because it
looks great.

Much better photos Dave. I really like the painting you have done. Any chance of seeing the back with the shield?

Hi Davy
A couple of cracking painted 75mm's .Looks like you've got the buzz back.Regards the lighting, maybe you should pay your electricity bill.Kidding aside i know they'll be stunners in the flesh.

Dave,

it does really look superb, could we get some close ups too? :))
I especially like the shading of the armor and the fleshtomes!

Thanks for sharing

Excellent flesh tones David. I really like the red cape bordered by white fur. Beautiful job on the shield too.

David, these new photos confirm what I
thought earlier,nice work.
You mentioned that you'd added texture to the tunic,
how did you go about that?

Hi Mark thanks for your kind words, the texture on the tunic is done by painting fine lines in the highlights and shadows. I also added some tears and staining wet on dry.
