Introduction
WOW what an awesome figure. I'm sure that many of you said that when Pegaso announced their August releases. So here I present you the review of this figure. I believe that you will also be impressed by the quality as much as I was.So enough said... lets move on... with the Historical Notes as always.
Historical Notes
"Blackfoot" is the English translation of the word siksika, which means "black foot." It refers to the dark colored moccasins the people wear. Some Blackfoot people are annoyed by the plural "Blackfeet," which is obviously an anglicization. But most Blackfoot people accept both terms. "Blackfoot" is more commonly used in Canada, and "Blackfeet" is more commonly used in the United States.
The Blackfeet Indians are original residents of Montana and Alberta, Canada. Most Blackfoot people still live there today.
There are four Blackfoot bands: three in Canada and one in the United States. A Blackfoot band is known as a tribe in the United States and a First Nation in Canada. Each Blackfoot tribe or First Nation lives on its own reservation or reserve, which means land that belongs to the tribe and is legally under their control. The four Blackfoot bands are politically independent. Each one has its own government, laws, police, and services, just like a small country.
In the past, the Blackfeet tribe was led by a council of chiefs, one from each clan. The Blackfeet people really valued harmony, so every chief had to agree on a decision before action could be taken (this is called consensus). Today, Blackfeet council members are elected like governors or mayors are... but their government still works by consensus.
Most Blackfoot Indians speak English today, but about half of them also speak their native Blackfoot language. Blackfoot is a musical language that has complicated verbs with many parts. Most Blackfoot words are very long and difficult for English speakers to pronounce, but one easy word that you might like to learn is "Oki" (pronounced "oh-kee,") which means "Hello!"

Quality and Detail
It's really an amazing moment when you open the Pegaso box and you face the parts of this kit. The Master sculptor Benoit Cauchies really sculpted a masterpiece. Lots of detail in beadwork and also the muscular parts of the body. The arms have also the veins sculpted something that really surprised me. The casting quality and fitting its in the usual Pegaso's high standards. The scale of 75mm really advances in the miniature world and that's also something that makes this figure even more attractive.
Painting
The painting of the boxart it's really a dream, made from the Master Danilo Cartacci. I would say that the muscular parts really need a great attention in order to show a realistic result. A great effort is also required for the beadwork and finally the leather clothing...So I would personally recommend this figure to medium to expert painters, that can handly lets of flesh and detailed painting. But of course.. if someone really likes the figure...can have a go and test his limits and levels.
Conclusion
Conluding I would say that Pegaso team...did a great job in making this kit a reality and offer it to us. I'm sure that we will see lots of them in Show tables... and personally I can't wait to get my brushes on this beauty.
Finally I would like to Thank again Pegaso Models, Luca Marchetti and Pietro Balloni for providing this kit.
