This is my second attempt at figure modelling and I am pleased with how it has turned out thanks to guidance with the build from Nelly at N-S prod and with paint suggestions from Steve Crisp at Darkstar Miniatures.
The figures were painted with Mig Ammo and Vallejo acrylics and the base was airbrushed with Tamiya acrylics.
A hatched line in the cast base was faintly visible but in order to make it more obvious I raided one of the spare decals boxes and found some very old Microscale decals.
The watch and watch parts were painted with Darkstar Molten Metals using Royal Gold, Braid Gold and Antique Gold. I must admit that I was a bit nervous with the painting at first but it settled down and dried out just as Steve had advised.
Additional watch parts were sourced from one of the spares boxes.
A lovely build and I might just be tempted by one of Nelly's other castings.
Sorry for the quality of the photo but this was taken at the model's first outing last weekend at Ipswich.

Nice bit of work and well done if this was only your second attempt at figure modelling (Got tro love that sort of ambition) :)

I love the NS Production stuff and have a couple of Nelly's figures already - Like you I suspect more are going to appear in future
Cheers
Paul
