PiliPili White Bird

Hello all, being fairly new to figs thought i would put up my rendition of PiliPili's 120mm mounted White Bird. Completed this one a few years back and it was my first attempt at a horse and my second figure in this scale also. Painted in oils over an enamel undercoat. Please tell me what you think.

looks good, particularly for a medium I am not so confident in.

Highlights, blending, shadows, all seem good.

perhaps some pix from other sides will help with more feedback?

Very good painting mate. Oils over enamels is an interesting and unusual approach. You have a good eye for highlighting and shading, but I too would like to see a few more pics.

Hi Barrie,

very good painting, I agree. Personally I would like to see more contrast, but the colours used are nice, the painting is very clean and you picked the details nicely, have you painted any figures since?
(if you happen to have more pics, also post some close ups please)
