Just finished this one from Tommy’s War in 54mm: Daniel Laidlaw of the KOSB’s who won the VC at the Battle of Loos in 1915. Painted up in the usual oils and acrylics:

Tartan is very challenging and you've made a nice job of this.

Agree with David the tartan is great especially given how complex that sett is, thank goodness for the kilt cover, which is also very nicely painted.

Lovely job. I always view the photos shrunk down to true size to get the feel of the paint job and this looks fantastic. There's just something that I love about 54s!
