my first bust, painted with Humbrol and Winsor & Newton oils.

That is not a dead parot it looks really alive.
I just love those norwegian blue..... ;)

The face is good but best is the five o clock shadow. It could be the light or the photo but perhaps the hair and eyebrows could have more highlights.

Please have a close up of the eyse and the teeth.

When I say the "five o clock shadow" I mean the unshaven area of his jaw. He looks like he have a two day old beard. I think the fleshtones are good maybe again the hair and eyebrows could need some more highlighting but it could also be the photo.

I work almost exclusivly in Humbrol, but use artist oils as well as goldprinters ink and acrylics for special occations.

He has indeed a 2 days old beard. did this only with Raw Umber, this time it worked well, but normally I f*cked the whole face.
I had luck this time.
Should do something about the hair, but don't know what. Adding more white?
