Sure, changes the scale, but is the little brother...And the sapper of the Guard Grenadiers in campaign background , but in parade dress!

Looks promising indeed. Marcello, you saying that the sapper is dressed wrongly? Or what? How should he be?

Xenofon

Hi Xenofon,
No, the uniform is right , but it's a parade dress, used when sappers walked during ceremonies at the beginnig of their regiment, together to the music band and the drummers, being the "tete de colonne".
This figure is situated in a campaign background, situation when the sappers wore a surtout, a single breast coat at seven buttons, not all the golden broderies showed in the parade dress, that had an expensive cost, unacceptable for campaign use. Besides, in the regiment of Grenadiers of the Imperial Guard there were 2 sappers for every company (four) of the two battalions, total 16 sappers. Well, I think (on memory, I should control my books) that none of the sixteen has been employed in battle. I can mistake, obviously, but their companions grenadiers were employed rarely, only if the battle situation became loosing, can you imagine that these sappers were used, having the French Army sappers in every Line regiment and a whole Corp of Engineering? However, if you are interested in the matter, I can control my documents and say you. In any case, NOT WITH THIS UNIFORM. But is not a problem of the figure, he need only to stay in a street ground, or a stone floor, and all turns right.
Best regards
MdM

Xenofon,
Last thing, the tassels situated on the right side of colback seem red, instead they must be mixed red and gold, as the epaulettes.
