One thing!

If you have ever carried an M-60 you would not tote it in this manner, it would be buried into his shoulder and the soldier would be listing to one side, the M-60 was a real heavy piece of machinery and you did not toss it around like an M-16, great bit of sculpting.

I have still not located your figures

Is there a US importer for your products? I would love to get my hands on these figures, great work.

Thanks for note,Chris!
Really,I`d never carry real M 60,but know that this "Pig" is much heavy.Only see many photos and footage with machine gunners.Main special of this figure is moment, that figure will be have two ammo belts across torso.I think than figure will be have belt neccessery find good position of M 60 on shoulder accordeing with belt.Perhaps, need take sharp knife and make
small "walley" on shoulder for put M60 and imitate heavy weight of it.
When I sculpted figure,I pressed M-60 in soft putty on sholder, but think it`s not enough:)

Figures

Hi Demch, JUST A QUESTION:BUT THE AMMO BELT ACROSS THE TORSO WILL BE SCULPTED ON THE FIGURE OR, WE MUST WILL GLUE THEM ON IT, WHEN WE LL BUY IT?THEN, PLEASE, ON WICH OTHER ACTOR, OF PLATOON FILM ARE YOU WORKING ON, OR ARE IN YOUR NAM PROJECT?THANKS MARIO.

Hi!
No,ammo belt will be as 2 separate resin part (yesterday I get first copies of this figure and without any problem put both belts around torso, resin is very soft and "elastic" when assembly for box-art).
Main reasons about separate belts are two.If belt was made on master-model torso, never will be good quality of each bullet.Second-some modellers like and prefer photo-etched ammo belts and can use favorite options.
Theme of Platoon will be continue, now I have Bunny and Phah in process.Alsp soon will be pair of VN era US tankers.
Thanks.

fine vlad

Thanks for your answer Vlad.First of all i am very glad for your choice to sculpt separately from torso of King the bullets for m60,in particular becouse so, i could buy two figures equal and use one with m60 and one another with other weapons.....!!!!!Then the idea that you are working on other two Platoon characters, bunny and pha its an enthusiastic news....my Platoon diorama became every day more big....WOW!!!! And the idea of two nam tanker its beauty too,in this last project, could i give you a suggestion? Sculpt two heads for each figures, two regular ,with tanker helmets ,....and two particular with bandana, boonie hat or bald heads ,or one with africanamerican head, what do you think about it? Bye Mario.
