Hi,

here another one.
This is a figure from Viriatus to which I made some modifications for the purpose of representing an artilleryman from the Regimento Artilharia da Corte (Forte de S. Julião) - 1764.

Hope you like it. Comments welcomed.

Thank you Daniel.

The coat and trousers are a very dark blue, nearly black (it's called Azul Ferrete), and the lapels, cuffs and gaiters are black.

Cheers

That's some serious calibre gun by the size of the rammer! Interesting to see a new take on the period nice one

Nice painting and figure. Didn't know of Vitriatus...

Hi Adrain,

Thank you for your words.

Viriatus was a portuguese company the made figures of the portuguese army since Roman time up until the colonial wars in Africa.
Most of the figures cannot be found any longer but there are some shops that might still have some: El Greco, Red Lancers and some more.

Nevertheless I visited today the Army Museum and I found out that they have a few still available.
In case you're interested the e-mail is
