Resin bust sculpted by Fernando Pires, represent´s a Portuguese Paratrooper scale 1/12.
The Portuguese paratroopers are an elite from Portugueses air force, base camp located in "Tancos".
The Portuguese Paras appear in 1956.
In Portuguese colonial wars 1961-1974 the paras struggle to retain the Portuguese African possessions, executing special missions against the guerrillas in Angola (UNITA, MPLA), Mozambique (RENAMO) and Guinea bissau (PAIGC), this men´s gained a huge wealth of experience in counter-insurgency warfare.
