Does anyone have any idea the going rate/commission for sculpting a 1/32 figure?

Right now, I'm so slow that I don't think I could ever charge a decent hourly rate and get paid for it, but I was wonder what is typical. I understand that there are complicated figures, and "easy" figure - but I'm just looking to get an idea.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Best,

Jon

Forte: Thank you for your response!

Not charge an hourly rate? I do a fair amount of commercial art, and I always try to hit my target $$/per hour.

How do you value your work? I'm genuinely curious.

Being that I juggle a bit of depression, I don't really value my work. But you have to think about the other things you could be doing and make sure you set your value accordingly.

I did see a pretty good video about pricing art. I'll see if I can find it.

Art for art is completely out of any money contigencies . Delvaux, Picasso, Magritte and ... and .... were paid peanuts at their begining, lot of restaurant in south of France were even paid with paintings ( including artist like Van Gogh ) Just visit Collioure in France, the restaurant Les Templiers, they are there still 2000 paintings exposed . ( By the way the most famous ones are not there anymore since many years )

I think there is no "price list", just make direct proposal to various editors and see what happen
Best luck
