primer for plastics

It's been many years since I painted any Barzso (soft plastic) or Preiser (not quite as soft) figures but I had pretty good luck with good ol' Krylon primer, available at any hardware store, Walmart, or Kmart. Just make sure you give the figures a good washing before priming.

For plastic I use Floquil grey primer. I even use it on my resin figures.
I just air brush it on and it works well. I like it because its pretty thin,
which it has to be going thru the airbrush... but it goes on really nice.

the primer will be used on both warhammer and dml figures . i do not own a air- brush because i live in an apartment in brooklyn n.y.
 
Floquil comes in a spray can as well as bottled for those who have to use a brush. Allow 24 hours for drying for best cure
