Hope it works a hell of a lot better than their 'Surface Primer'.....no adhesion on white metal at all!

Not my experience at all. I find it works perfectly but I did wash my figures thoroughly before applying.

Got to add that I've used it on resin and white metal figures. I found it needs to be properly mixed before applying as with their paints.

Cheers

All my pieces get cleaned with warm soapy water....followed by pure IPA (Alcahol) before priming....and paints are thoroughly mixed (and thinned if needed) before application by airbrush.
I know of several people who have experienced the exact same issue with white metal and Scale 75 'Surface Primer'....so for me.....no thanks....will stick with what works.

I use several very diluted coats applied by brush and that works for me with the scale 75 primers. Which colour did you use or was it a problem you had with all of them?

Cheers

Hi Huw....I never apply 'primers' by brush....either use aerosol or airbrush.....it is their black surface primer (IMPRIMACION) that I have a singular problem with....
As for the rest of their ranges....one word....superb (y).....especially through the airbrush :)

Regards

Thanks for the info Ron. It's funny how we all have our different approaches - for me airbrushes are for armour but that's just me... I will double check with the black as I have to prime something in the next couple of weeks if I ever get time to finish the build. I've a brand new container of black primer sitting in my acrylics draw staring at me!

Cheers

Will be very interested to hear how you get on with it mate (y)
I use the airbrush a lot in my figure works these days....it is a tool that is much maligned....but....for me at least....has so much to offer :)

Pretty much the same routine for me......well at least the cleaning bit ........ I drink the IPA .......... and then it's simply Halfords Grey Primer and occasionally same in black.
I suppose if it wasn't for the postage costs I'd give these a try.
