Perhaps you already know the following, but I think it is better to hear some-
thing twice, or already know of it, I mean, than to not be told.
All figures, regardless of their composition — styrene, resin, or metal
should be washed well with soap and water with your hands and
an old large brush, in the sink. Then you can think of what to use for
a primer.
And with rattle cans (spray cans) it is wise to used warm water to warm up
the paint inside the rattle can. I use warm tap water in a pan,
and set the rattle can down inside the pan, so it stands up like it would be
standing on the store's shelves. My meaning: don't lay down the rattle
can on it's side, in the pan.
