Another - still quite young - manufacturer from Russia goes to the western market ...:

And these figures come in September ...:

Title: Kozak with a Cradle
Scale: 75 mm
Resin
Sculptor: Sergej Valger

-------------------------------------------------

Title: Russian in Combat with Pecheneg
Scale: 54 mm
Resin (vignette, two riders, accessories, base)
Sculptor: Igor Gulyayev

The template is this painting by Yuri Vasilyevich Emelyanov ...:

The Pechenegs (or "Peschnegi")...

...were a Turkic people (the Russians counted them as "Tatars") who lived in several khanates in present-day southern Russia...

...during the 11th century and frequently raided the territory of ancient Rus - the predecessor state of Russia ...

Now that's a really nice looking Cossack. The two warriors on horseback are great, too,....it's an unusual and welcome addition, as here in the West I suspect we know very little about early Russian / Southern Asian history. I note that one of the tribal areas was called 'Alania';- maybe the origin of my name !?
