Hi guys,

I am looking for a figure of this regiment, preferably 90 - 120mm scale, in full dress uniform c. 1939-45.

Is there anyone out there who knows if one exists or does anyone have one in their GA that they would part with, please?

many thanks,

Steve(y)

Hi Steve, what do you mean by full dress please? Between 1939-45 the or's wore battle dress
except for occasional parades when kilts where more often worn by senior and 'duty' officers and the pipe band in the Camerons and trews in the. Cameronions.
Is it the Cameronians or the Cameron Highlanders you want a figure of ?

Paul

Hi Paul,

thanks for the response - a figure or bust in battledress, with a tam o'shanter is what Im after - youre right, there was not a lot of colour during WW2!
Cameron Highlanders, not the Cameronians in trews, I got my regiments mixed up, sorry!

thanks,

Steve

Well, in that case you will have to do some head swapping onto a standard infantry figure in sorry.
If there had been one I would've bought it.

Nice one carl,
This is a great bust and nicely dishevelled after combat.
This also demonstrates he problem in finding ***** and span full-dress as mentioned.
The only non-combat figures are MP's and RP's in smaller scales there was also a guardsman on parade in
Battle dress where you could easily change the head.

Thanks guys - I suddenly had a blinding thought at work and looked that one up!! Looks a likely candidate, with a bit of tweaking - watch this space!

many thanks for posting chaps!
