Hello all of you,

Could someone tell me something about Super Sculpey , especially the firm grey one?
I'm thinking about ordering some sculpey, compared to fimo equal in price but when it does feel like the classical fimo I think I don't.

Personally I like a firm clay, fimo mixed with black does soften it.

Like to hear,

I think this is one of those things that you'll have to try for yourself René, there are a lot of differences of opinion on the feel of the various polymer clays.

You can put it into the refrigerator or freezer after mixing. But if you pre-mix a batch of your custom grey and put it aside, it'll stiffen back up.

The firm is quite firm in my opinion. There is no need to darken it; it's already a dark shade of grey. It's not like the regular pinky shade of SS in texture at all....miles away,
Much more like Fimo.
It's kind of like playing poker...it'll cost you to find out. No way around it until you sculpt with it, I don't think.
